Socially awkward teenager Angel Jenkins is trying her best to fit in. Living in the ghetto with her overly religious grandmother, Angel longs for a day she doesn't have to live hand to mouth. She has books smarts and a promising future but that's not enough. Angel desires a more glamorous lifestyle filled with designer threads, fast cars and money to spare. Her thirst for the fast life lands her in the arms of neighborhood bad boy Trouble Diamond. Trouble Diamond is on a mission. After spending the last seven years of his life locked behind bars, Trouble will stop at nothing to settle old scores and take down those who he feels have done him wrong. Along the way he meets Angel, a shy timid girl with a heart of gold. He is attracted to Angel's intelligence and green demeanor. Angel is loyal to him but Trouble's loyalty comes with sacrifices.
