Publisher's Synopsis
Hilary can communicate with the dead and finds this at first both confusing and terrifying. Hilary's journey is marked by very powerful and highly emotional experiences that forge her as a person. Her relationship with both of her parents, one of them deceased and the other alive, invokes in the reader an increasing level of empathy as the story pushes into the complexities of the relationship between mother and daughter. The arrival of Nathan, a colourful but dangerous character, brings forth the catalyst for change and creates even more conflict between Hilary and her troubled world.
