This docunovel like the six that preceded it is an amalgam of truth and fiction. All of the events described are based on actual occurrences, some of which have been slightly altered for the sake of dramatic unity. Some of the characters are a combination of several people; this allows a consolidation for literary efficiency The names of living policemen and all others involved, except the author have been changed to protect the privacy of those who were there. By 1992 I was ready to come home to the town of my birth, Des Moines Iowa. And I set myself up as a PI to make a modest living and eventually to supplement my Social Security. The time of this docunovel is 2016, about 21 years after my return to Des Moines. I have gotten old. There is no alluring, interesting way to put it. Quite without warning an offender from1972 comes roaring back into my life on the streets of Des Moines, -one Christos Bitsakos, whom Plato and I had put into Richmond Prison for 40 years to Life, and he really, really, needs help.
