Publisher's Synopsis
In the title story, Jim Gatlin, having just completed a trail drive to Montana, finds himself in the small cattle town of Tucker where an attempt is made on his life in a restaurant. The case of mistaken identity plunges Gatlin into a situation of intrigue against which there is nothing he can do but fight for his life.
