Scarce with the dustjacket, particularly retaining the pair of eyes - this copy, like most, lacks the contribution of 'Michael X' (a.k.a. Michael de Freitas, Michael Abdul Malik), removed at the insistence of the author. An erratum slip sometimes accompanies that omission, but is not present here - and whilst his 'Words' is listed on the Contents page, the pagination leaps from p. 67 to 70, with no excision, suggesting this may be a distinct printing.Contributions, in this selection of articles from the first three years of the underground newspaper, come from Trocchi, Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs, John Peel, Pete Townshend, Kevin Ayers, Philip Lamantia, Buckminster Fuller, Michael McClure, et al.
