The paperback book is designed with room to record notes, and is intended to be an heirloom record you can pass on to your grandkids when they begin the quest to learn these things. While it's not an exhaustive study of all the possible plants that can be used for food or medicine in a TEOTWAWKI situation, it's a firm start in a small enough dose to be digestible.
