Atul Gawande - The Checklist Manifesto

Atul Gawande is an American surgeon, author and journalist. Following his bestelling publications Better, which looked at improving doctors' performance, and Complications, an account of the life of a surgeon, Gawande has now released The Checklist Manifesto. The book looks at the use of aviation-style checklists in the operating theatre and the significant benefits that they bring to the complicated world of surgery.
