It picks up the narrative starting with Jason Edward Daugherty, the second son of Jason Daugherty's first family. It then goes on to discuss the family of Jason's second marriage. The rest of the children of Charles and Mary Anne Pettigrew Daugherty are briefly discussed. The story then finishes with a brief overview of the three remaining children of James and Lettie: Eunice, Sarah and Andrew. Detail was limited somewhat because of consideration of space, and also protecting the privacy of living descendants. Thus concludes the interesting history of 1.2.
