Publisher's Synopsis
Aru Shah cannot remember what she asked for from the wish tree, but she's certain it was not for a new sister, Kara. Since Kara appears to be the only person capable of helping her escape from the Sleeper, she will have to trust her. Aru is not sure if she wants to fight for the devas in their war against the asuras. Why have all the adults in her life failed her? Will she be able to forgive them before the battle of her lifetime?
